STUDIO SOUND
The Rephrase Production Studio is well stocked with all the necessary pro-audio equipment to elevate any recording. Skilled at getting the the best sounding audio possible and also being able to manipulate it to suit requirements. Well versed in most DAWs and have detailed knowledge of effects, miking techniques and acoustics.
LIVE SOUND
Comfortable behind most live mixing desks. Keen aural acumen and understanding how different rooms/stages work with regards to sound. I also have experience in capturing live sound for film and TV.
PRESENTING, voice over & voice acting
I have a versatile voice which can carry a low resonant frequency that is perfect for documentaries or voice overs. Further to this I have had a varied degree of acting experience through appearing in films with Liam Neeson and Billy Connelly and playing roles in various theatre performances throughout Scotland. I find it quite easy to adapt to different roles and relish in the challenge.
PODCAST EDITING
Whether it be a fresh slate podcast with two presenters, or a series requiring a bit more sparkle, I am confident in my abilities to really give your show a shine. Through pristine audio, careful editing, some sonic identification and some sound texturising, your podcast will match the most popular out there.
SOUND DESIGN
Passionate about making projects come alive through the medium of sonics, whether it be radio adverts or idents, audio drama or live theatre, I have the skillset required to bring any feature to life. I am creative and feel I am developing a unique style within my craft, which can also be tailored to meet the needs of a client.
SCRIPT WRITING & idea development
I always have multiple ideas for shows, both audio and visual, buzzing around in my brain. These range from dramatic retellings of obscure moments in history, to factual formats and podcast ideas. I am also always very keen to work with others with a view to developing one of their ideas, one of mine or a completely new idea written on the spot.
